Shaluwa Malole watched smallholder farmers in Uganda lose harvests to pests and pour scarce resources into expensive chemical pesticides that damaged their soil, their health, and their long-term productivity. She saw a different path — and took it. As Founder of Nimiro Innovations, Shaluwa has combined her knowledge of agriculture and rural communities to build affordable, eco-friendly solutions for crop pest and disease management.
