Sarah Manyozo
About Sarah
Sarah Manyozo grew up in a community where textile waste was everywhere and many families could not afford decent clothing. She saw those two problems as one solution. From a young age, she taught herself to redesign and sew discarded items into stylish, functional pieces. At 19, Sarah is the Founder of Manyozo Enterprise, a sustainable fashion brand building a circular economy from the ground up — stitch by stitch.
About Manyozo Enterprise
Manyozo Enterprise transforms discarded and low-value clothing into high-quality, affordable garments — including jackets, skirts, tote bags, school uniforms, and children’s wear. Each piece is collected, cleaned, and redesigned, given a second life whilst reducing textile waste and its environmental impact. Beyond fashion, Manyozo Enterprise is a platform for social change. The business trains and employs young women in tailoring, design, and entrepreneurship — addressing clothing affordability and youth unemployment simultaneously. Driven by creativity and purpose, it is part of a new generation of African businesses turning waste into opportunity and fashion into a force for inclusion.
