About Malehu
Malehu Mohale grew up in a low-income household, raised by a single mother who stretched a modest government grant to invest in her daughter’s education. That sacrifice paid off — Malehu achieved seven distinctions in her matric exams, including 99% in Mathematics. She never forgot what made it possible. As Founder of EBTA Online Academy, Malehu has channelled that experience into a mission: making quality academic support accessible to learners who, like her, have the potential but not the resources.

EBTA Online Academy connects top-performing university students with high school learners who need both academic guidance and relatable role models. Delivered via WhatsApp and accessible digital platforms, EBTA offers flexible, affordable tutoring in Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, and Accounting — removing the geographical and financial barriers that too often determine who gets to succeed. The model creates a self-reinforcing cycle: university students gain meaningful employment and leadership experience whilst providing the mentorship they once needed themselves. EBTA is not just a tutoring service — it is a growing movement committed to unlocking potential and transforming futures across South Africa.
