About Bio

Bio Euphrahim Yai grew up understanding that farming is about more than food — it is about community, environment, and long-term survival. From an early age, he developed a deep connection to agriculture and its role in Ivorian society. That connection became the foundation for a venture combining economic opportunity with environmental responsibility. Euphrahim is the Founder of VertIvoire Groupe, an agro-food enterprise in San Pedro producing fresh fruits and vegetables through eco-friendly agroecological practices. Recognised for his innovation, he has participated in international entrepreneurship programmes and won multiple awards as a rising leader in Africa’s agricultural sector.

About VertIvoire Groupe

VertIvoire Groupe operates on a 3-hectare farm, cultivating tomatoes, eggplants, peppers, okra, and seasonal tropical fruits using natural farming methods: composting, crop rotation, and biological pest control. These practices preserve soil fertility and protect the environment whilst producing healthy, high-quality food for local markets. Beyond food production, VertIvoire Groupe is committed to empowering rural youth — creating employment and demonstrating that agriculture can be both profitable and sustainable. Through its work, the company aims to inspire a new generation of young farmers to embrace responsible practices and contribute to a healthier, more food-secure Côte d’Ivoire.
