About this Report
In many low resource environments, such as developing countries and distressed areas within developed countries, successful entrepreneurial outcomes, and the strategic decisions of reorientation, often depend heavily on ventures’ access to resources. This study examines the effects of entrepreneurial resource acquisition on venture performance and strategic reorientation in such contexts. In particular, the researcher explores how new ventures engage in strategic reorientation based on the resources they acquire and how this accumulation of specific forms of capital affects their performance.
