Khaled Shady is a student at Menoufoia University in Egypt where he is focusing on Computer Engineering. His University curriculum gave him a unique opportunity with a breadth of tech knowledge to develop a system that could help the community at large.

After learning more about the blind community, he felt called to develop something that could give aid to their daily lives and that came to be known as Mubser. Mubser is a wearable belt fully equipped with Bluetooth and Microsoft Kinect, that guides the individual to navigate safely around objects and obstacles using a system of vibration motors.

His impact is apparent and the technology is beautiful; Khaled is on a collision course to being an impactful tech entrepreneur looking to help various sets of peopleโ€™s lives.

Khaled was the winner of the 2013 I2P regional competition and represented Egypt in the global competition in Brazil.
