Farmplus is a social enterprise in Uganda focused on ensuring livestock feed security and promoting global food security. Using Black soldier fly larvae as a sustainable solution for animal rearing, Farmplus produces protein feeds that do not compete with human consumption and are available year-round. Farmplus is dedicated to transforming agriculture and communities in Uganda by cutting farmers’ feed costs, bolstering livelihoods, conserving the environment through waste conversion, and generating jobs for local communities, including women and youth.
