She’s a member of the Joint Chambers International (JCI), an organisation for young active citizens which seeks to create sustainable impact in communities through mass sensitization, awareness campaigns and providing relief where needed.
She is currently a co-founder of Recyclift Limited and heads its daily operations. She co-founded Recyclift because of the need to address key environmental challenges in Nigeria, generate wealth and bring about sustainable development to her community.
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
Recyclift is a recycling project. It aims to get rid of waste from the environment and generate wealth by recycling it. Recyclift buys and scavenges for waste materials from homes, offices, bars, hoarders and event centres/locations. The items are then sorted for processing.
Today, Recyclift has grown with the potential of being one of the biggest names in plastic recycling in Rivers State. It has processed over 8,000kg of plastic, provide jobs for 11+ people and provided a source of income for over 50 low-income earners from the waste to cash initiative which aims at generating wealth from recyclable materials for low-income earners.
