Giscard transformed a childhood hustle into a thriving food manufacturing business with national reach. His entrepreneurial journey began early, when he sold eggs on his family’s terrace, planting the seeds of a strong business mindset. While studying medicine, a UNICEF entrepreneurship course inspired him to build on that early experience. This led to the launch of Mayo-Bio, a locally made, organic mayonnaise brand inspired by the flavours of his hometown. With guidance and coaching, Giscard founded Firme KTL, producing two signature mayonnaise varieties, original and spicy, using local ingredients and culture.

Firme KTL is the company behind Mayo-Bio, the first locally produced mayonnaise in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). Using farm-fresh eggs, cassava starch, lemon juice, and peanut oil from local farmers, the brand supports Congolese agriculture. Its spicy version features regional chilli peppers, reflecting local identity. Committed to sustainable development and fair trade, Firme KTL creates meaningful employment for youth in a country facing high unemployment. The company supplies supermarkets, restaurants, and households through a flexible delivery system. Certified by the national quality control board, Firme KTL upholds strict food safety standards and eco-friendly practices.
