With the sprawling construction of houses in Mozambique, Faustino decided to invest in the supply of materials that are complementary to building houses. With effective marketing, Faustino has been able to make the case for wood flooring and the construction of swimming pools.
Faustino was born and raised in Maputo by his maternal grandparents. He grew up playing basketball, winning a few titles along the way. At 14, He was already giving opinions to his father on his business; harnessing his entrepreneurial core. In 2011, with the desire to start something different, he brainstormed with his friend, Erson and in 2015 and they came up with the idea to found the TQ Group Services.
Through selling T-shirts and organizing music concerts, he raised starting capital. His company, TQ Group Services, is a construction company involved in the production of hardwood floors as well as pool construction and maintenance using locally sourced raw materials. The company presently employ 13 people.
He hopes to grow his company’s assets to gross over a billion dollars, employing a multitude of locals to be involved in all manner of construction.
