Born in Adjintimey, Republic of Benin, Affi Noëline Ayebou is deeply passionate about agribusiness. Growing up in a region where farming is a fundamental part of daily life and community well-being inspired her to pursue a career dedicated to improving agricultural productivity and sustainability. She excelled in her studies, earning two scientific baccalaureate degrees.
Affi’s dedication to agro-business is further exemplified by her active involvement in various agricultural initiatives and her continuous efforts to acquire new knowledge and skills. Her academic achievements and practical experiences have equipped her with a deep understanding of the agricultural sector’s complexities and the innovative solutions needed to address them.
Transition into Entrepreneurship
Affi’s journey in agro-business began during her childhood. Excelling academically, she became a Mastercard Foundation scholar at the University of Abomey-Calavi after completing her baccalaureate in 2020, amidst the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, which led to global price hikes.
Driven by her desire to address societal issues, she pursued studies in the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, aiming to combat hunger, unemployment, poverty, and climate change.
Business Profile Created in 2022, Ana Agri d’Or is an agricultural company situated on a six-hectare area in Kpomassè, Benin. The company specializes in the production and marketing of agricultural and animal products, with the primary goal of fighting hunger and unemployment in the region. Beyond producing food, Ana Agri d’Or is committed to job creation and youth training in agriculture and agri-food processing. The company employs full-time workers and plans to expand its workforce as it grows.
