Anzisha Prize Tour is rolling through Africa and the first stop is Tanzania. Over the course of the last week I’ve been in Dar Es Salaam spreading the word about the Anzisha Prize opportunity – what a week it’s been! By the end of day two, one thing was clear – Dar es Salaam is bursting with young entrepreneurial energy. What’s really cool to see is that all of the change makers and self-starters that I’ve met so far are young…very young and most know each other or even in some cases grew up together. Former playmates that are now fellow game changers – gotta love it.
First things first, met up with Andrew Mahiga, managing director of Maanisha, an incredible young entrepreneur with great ideas and an even greater knack for getting things done (and running marathons).
